Are you Joy-ning us? Book Your Retreat

Arrive Overwhelmed. Leave with fire, focus, and a real-life plan

...where everything is taken care of, so you can switch off from everyday responsibilities and discover a practical way to reset your life and create lasting change.

Each day combines learning, reflection, relaxation, shared experiences, and a whole lot of fun. Mornings are spent exploring the ideas behind The Joy Philosophy. Afternoons are dedicated to building practical tools and systems that create strong foundations. And the time in between? We have fun!

With a maximum of six guests, every retreat is highly personalised. From your favourite meals to your pillow preferences, the experience is all about you.

Our Promise to You:

  • We'll never pretend to have all the answers.
  • We'll never pressure you to share more than you're ready to.
  • We'll always balance inspiration with practical action.
  • We'll do everything we can to help you leave with more joy than you arrived with.

Inside the Experience

To help you step out of overwhelm, build strong foundations, and reset your life with practical tools that create lasting change.

For anyone feeling overwhelmed, burnt out or ready for a fresh start, with no previous retreat or personal development experience required.

We believe lasting change comes from balancing practical learning, genuine connection, personal reflection, relaxation and a whole lot of fun.

Expect relaxed mornings with gorgeous mountain views, practical afternoons accompanied by a dip in the pool, incredible food by the sea, plenty of laughter, and an intimate home away from home shared with up to five other guests. This is as far removed from clinical or corporate environments as you can get.

With a small, carefully curated group of maximum 6 guests, every retreat is tailored to you, from your favourite meals and pillow preferences to activities, support and the little details that make all the difference.

This isn't therapy, it's certainly not a luxury spa escape, and definitely not a bootcamp. There's no emotional healing or forced positivity. It's a practical, uplifting experience designed to help you build a life you don't want to escape from.

You'll leave with practical tools, personalised systems, and a clear plan to help you continue your Joy Journey long after the retreat ends.

Full Itinerary

Our Itineraries Are Made to Move

This itinerary is our plan, not our rulebook. Activities may move or change depending on the weather, season, local events and what the group is interested in. And if something brilliant comes up along the way? We're absolutely allowed to change our minds.

Afternoon

  • We’ll meet you at the agreed meeting point and officially begin your Reset adventure.
  • Then it’s time for the journey home, with plenty of opportunities for snacks, ice cream, sightseeing and a cheeky toe dip in the sea along the way.

Evening

  • Once we arrive, we’ll give you a tour of the villa, get you settled into your room and run through everything you need to know for the week ahead.
  • Then it’s time for our Welcome BBQ! Great food, plenty of drinks, new faces and absolutely no serious thinking required. Tonight is simply about settling in, getting to know each other and starting to feel at home.

Morning

  • Our first proper day starts exactly as it should, with a delicious home cooked breakfast and nowhere you need to rush off to.
  • Then we’ll sit down together for our 'Introduction to Resetting'. We’ll explore burnout, overwhelm, disconnection and that strange feeling of having a life that looks perfectly fine on paper but somehow doesn’t feel quite right.
  • Most importantly, we'll start looking at why modern life can become so ridiculously full and introduce the practical Reset approach we'll be working through together over the week.
  • Then you’ll have some free time to let everything sink in. Find a hammock, grab a book, have a nap or simply enjoy not having anywhere else you need to be.

Afternoon

  • We’re off to the beach for a picnic! Good food, sea, sunshine and absolutely no PowerPoint presentations.
  • Stay on the sand, go for a swim, explore or simply lie there doing gloriously little. This afternoon is about slowing down and enjoying where you are.

Evening

  • Back home, we’ll have dinner together before things get serious. Board Game Night!
  • Friendly competition is encouraged. Questionable tactics will be judged accordingly.
  • After that, the evening is yours to relax before bed.

Morning

  • After breakfast, we tackle something almost everyone could use less of: noise.
  • Mental clutter, endless decisions, overflowing task lists, forgotten responsibilities and dozens of tiny things competing for your attention can make even a perfectly ordinary week feel exhausting.
  • In 'Reducing the Noise - Part 1', we'll look at practical ways to simplify the everyday, reduce unnecessary mental load and create routines and systems that make life easier to manage.
  • Then you’ll have some free time before lunch.

Afternoon

  • After lunch, we'll get outside for a walk and, weather permitting, a swim. A little movement, fresh air and Greek sunshine before round two.
  • Later, we'll come back together for 'Reducing the Noise - Part 2', where we'll start turning the morning's ideas into practical systems that work for your actual life.
  • No perfectly colour-coded fantasy schedules required.

Evening

  • Time to get ready because tonight we're heading out for dinner at one of our favourite local tavernas.
  • Expect ridiculously good Greek food, plenty of conversation and a very real possibility of ordering far more than any sensible group of people needs.
  • Once we're home, we'll begin our night routine and wind down for bed

Morning

  • We'll start with our morning routine and breakfast before tackling a subject capable of making otherwise perfectly rational adults suddenly want to reorganise the sock drawer: money.
  • 'Financial Control - Part 1' isn't about becoming an accountant or obsessing over every euro you spend. It's about understanding where your money goes, getting the important stuff organised and building a simple way to stay in control of it.
  • Then it's free time. Your bank balance has had enough attention for one morning.

Afternoon

  • After lunch, you'll have plenty of time to relax before we come back together for the practical part of the day.
  • In 'Financial Control - Part 2', we'll get hands-on with financial tracking and help you create a simple system that gives you a clearer picture of your finances without turning managing money into a second job.

Evening

  • After dinner, laptops and spreadsheets are officially banned.
  • It's Movie Night! We'll get comfortable, bring out the snacks and settle in for an evening that requires absolutely no budgeting whatsoever.
  • Then we'll finish with our night routine before heading to bed.

Morning

  • Morning routine. Breakfast. Then it's time to talk about where you're actually going.
  • 'Goal Setting - Part 1' is about moving beyond vague intentions and enormous lists of things you "should" probably do someday. We'll explore what you genuinely want, what deserves your attention and how to turn those ideas into goals you can actually act on.

Afternoon

  • Then we're taking a break from talking about life and heading to Nafpaktos to enjoy some of it.
  • We'll spend the afternoon exploring this gorgeous seaside town, wandering around its historic harbour and streets, finding something delicious to eat and enjoying wherever the day takes us.
  • There'll be plenty of time to explore, relax and simply enjoy being somewhere beautiful.

Evening

  • Once we're home, we'll come together for 'Goal Setting - Part 2', where we'll turn your ideas into something practical and start building a way to track what matters without creating yet another overwhelming to-do list.
  • After that, the evening is yours. Relax, chat, have a drink or disappear somewhere quiet. You've done enough productive thinking for one day.
  • We'll finish with our night routine before bed.

Morning

  • Today starts a little differently. After our morning routine, we'll head straight into 'Finding Fulfilment - Part 1'.
  • Having an organised life is useful, but an incredibly efficient life filled with things you don't actually care about rather misses the point.
  • Today we'll explore what makes life feel meaningful and fulfilling to you, where those things currently fit into your life and where they might have quietly been pushed aside.
  • Then we're heading out for brunch, because existential questions are considerably easier with good food.

Afternoon

  • The afternoon is about getting outside and enjoying ourselves. Depending on the weather and what everyone fancies, we might walk, hike, bike or swim.
  • There's no productivity target. Choose what feels good and enjoy it.

Evening

  • We'll have an early dinner before coming together for 'Finding Fulfilment - Part 2', where we'll turn what you've discovered into practical ways to make more room for the things that actually matter to you.
  • Then we're off to Dexameni for sunset. Great views, drinks, conversation and a chance to watch the sun disappear over western Greece.
  • Eventually we'll head home, wind down with our night routine and get some sleep before our final full day.

Morning

  • Our final full day starts with our morning routine and breakfast before we arrive at the reason we're doing all of this in the first place: joy.
  • You've spent the week reducing noise, getting practical parts of life under control, setting meaningful goals and thinking about fulfilment. 'Time for Joy - Part 1' brings everything together and asks a much more exciting question: what are you going to do with the space you've created?
  • We'll introduce the wider Joy Philosophy and start looking beyond Reset at what it means to experience more energy, possibility and joy in everyday life.
  • Then it's free time. Your brain can have the afternoon off.

Afternoon

  • We'll have lunch together followed by a completely free afternoon.
  • Swim. Nap. Read. Play games. Talk. Sit in the sunshine. Do something ridiculous. Do absolutely nothing.
  • Today isn't about learning how to have fun. It's about actually having some.

Evening

  • We'll come together for our final session, 'Time for Joy - Part 2', reflect on everything you've discovered during the week and look at how you'll take your Reset home with you.
  • Then it's dinner in the form of a Pizza Party!
  • Good food, music, laughter and one final night together. No workshop objectives. No action plans. No sensible reason to go to bed early.
  • Eventually we'll wind down with our final night routine and try not to talk too much about the fact that tomorrow is leaving day.

Morning

  • It’s our final breakfast all together (I’m not crying, you’re crying!). We will take our time, savour the flavours and the friendships forged, reflect on how far we have all come, and share the fire and excitement you feel in your bones for your future
  • By now, our hope is that you're not leaving with a notebook full of ideas you'll never look at again. You're leaving with practical systems, clearer priorities and a real-life plan for building stronger foundations when you get home.

Later Morning

  • We take a road trip to your departure location, cry lots, but resolve never to lose this connection we have built over the last week together
  • We say farewell, but not for long, we hope! There is so much more we can experience together!
  • This might be the end of your Reset Retreat, but it's only Phase 1.
  • Your Joy Journey has officially begun.

Accommodation

Come in. Make yourself at home.

Welcome to our home in Argyra, a peaceful village surrounded by nature, with stunning mountain views and glimpses of Greece's gorgeous west coast.

With just six guests, you'll never have to compete for space or attention, just a stay that's personalised around the little things that make you feel at home. This isn't a hotel or traditional retreat centre, it's a real home. You'll have your own comfortable bedroom, shared living spaces and so many outdoor areas you could choose a different favourite every day.

Unpack your bags, kick off your shoes and make yourself at home. This is not a hotel. This is something much more personal.

Three floors. Five balconies. More places to sit than anyone reasonably needs.

Our three-level mountain home has plenty of room to spread out, inside and out, with sunny terraces, shady corners and spaces for doing everything or absolutely nothing. Take a dip in the pool, fire up the BBQ or pizza oven, play pool, darts or foosball, grab a book from the mini library, belt out some karaoke or settle in for a movie in one of our homemade cinemas.

And when you just want to relax? Choose from five balconies and a slightly ridiculous collection of hammocks, swing chairs, egg chairs, bean bags, sun loungers and deck chairs.

Secluded in the mountains but not cut off from the world, we're around 10 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from the centre of Patras.

The room with the view.

Wake up to some of the best mountain views in the house from this bright, comfortable room with a king-size bed that can also be arranged as twins, excellent Wi-Fi, air conditioning and your own private bathroom.

It can get a little toasty during the Greek summer, but thankfully the air-con is very good at its job.

Pros:

  • EU Grand King bed or Twin beds
  • Excellent Internet
  • Best views in the villa of the vast mountains of Greece!
  • Air Conditioning
  • Private Bathroom

Cons:

  • Can get hot in summer, but the air-con is great in summer, but the air-con is great

Your own magical (and literal) doorway to the mountains

A comfortable room with a king-size bed that can also be arranged as twins, excellent Wi-Fi and air conditioning, plus your own private access to an outdoor space overlooking the Greek mountains.

The bathroom is shared with just one other guest room, but with the mountains right outside your door, we think it’s a pretty fair trade.

Pros:

  • EU Grand King bed or Twin beds
  • Excellent Internet
  • Private access to outside space overlooking the mountains of Greece!
  • Air Conditioning

Cons:

  • Shared bathroom with 1 other bedroom

The coolest room in the house. Literally.

Our naturally coolest bedroom is perfect for anyone who likes to escape the Greek summer heat, with a king-size bed that can also be arranged as twins, excellent Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

The secret to staying so cool? Just one small window. The bathroom is shared with one other guest room, but when it’s 35°C outside, you may be too busy appreciating the temperature to care.

Pros:

  • EU Grand King bed or Twin beds
  • Excellent Internet
  • This is the coolest bedroom (temperature wise) in summer
  • Air Conditioning

Cons:

  • Shared bathroom with 1 other bedroom
  • Only 1 small window (this is the reason it is so cool in summer!)
