Phase 2: Restore Retreat

7 Day Retreat

Are you Joy-ning us? Book Your Retreat

Arrive "just getting by". Leave energised, empowered, and knowing how to live differently.

...where everything is taken care of, giving you the space to restore your energy, build your confidence and discover practical ways to experience life differently.

Each day combines learning, reflection, relaxation, shared experiences and a whole lot of fun. Mornings explore practical ways to manage stress, strengthen positivity, build confidence and bring more joy into everyday life. Afternoons put those ideas into action. And the time in between? We have fun!

With a maximum of six guests, every retreat is highly personalised. From your favourite meals to your pillow preferences, the experience is all about you.

Our Promise to You:

  • We'll never pretend to have all the answers.
  • We'll never pressure you to share more than you're ready to.
  • We'll always balance inspiration with practical action.
  • We'll do everything we can to help you leave with more joy than you arrived with.

Inside the Experience

To give you practical techniques, habits and mindset shifts that help you manage stress, restore energy, build confidence and experience more joy in everyday life.

Restore is for when the foundations are built and you're ready to move forward. Completing Reset is a great way to get here, but it's not essential. What matters is that you're ready to focus on how you experience life, not just how you manage it.

We believe life doesn't need to be perfect to feel good, and small changes in how you think, respond and experience the everyday can make an extraordinary difference.

Expect uplifting mornings exploring how we experience life, practical afternoons putting new techniques into action, accompanied by relaxation by the pool, incredible food by the sea, plenty of laughter, and an intimate home away from home shared with up to five other guest. This is as far removed from clinical or corporate environments as you can get.

With a small, carefully curated group of maximum 6 guests, every retreat is tailored to you, from your favourite meals and pillow preferences to activities, support and the little details that make all the difference.

This isn't therapy, it's certainly not a luxury spa escape, and definitely not a bootcamp. There's no emotional healing or forced positivity. It's a practical, uplifting experience designed to help you build a life you don't want to escape from.

You'll leave with practical techniques, new habits and your own personal toolkit for managing stress, building positivity and bringing more energy, confidence and joy into everyday life.

Full Itinerary

Our Itineraries Are Made to Move

This itinerary is our plan, not our rulebook. Activities may move or change depending on the weather, season, local events and what the group is interested in. And if something brilliant comes up along the way? We're absolutely allowed to change our minds.

Afternoon

  • We’ll meet you at our agreed meeting point and officially begin your Restore adventure.
  • Then it’s time for the journey home, with plenty of opportunities for snacks, ice cream, sightseeing and a cheeky toe dip in the sea along the way.

Evening

  • Once we arrive, we’ll give you a tour of the villa, get you settled into your room and run through everything you need to know for the week ahead.
  • Then we do what we do best. Eat! Our Welcome BBQ is your chance to relax, meet your fellow guests and start getting very comfortable with calling this place home.

Morning

  • Our first proper day begins with a delicious home cooked breakfast and absolutely no need to rush. You’re on retreat time now.
  • Our first session is your 'Introduction to Restore'. We’ll explore what it really means to move beyond simply getting by and start experiencing life differently, including the role that stress, energy, positivity, confidence and motivation play in how life actually feels.
  • Then it’s free time. Have a coffee, find a hammock, read a book, stare at the mountains or do absolutely nothing. Doing nothing is highly underrated.

Afternoon

  • Today we’re taking relaxation very seriously. It’s Spa Day! Time to slow everything down, switch off and enjoy being thoroughly looked after.
  • There’s no lesson hidden in this one. Sometimes relaxing is allowed to just be relaxing.

Evening

  • We’ll come home for a relaxed dinner and probably discover that spending an afternoon at a spa is surprisingly exhausting.
  • Then the competitive side comes out. It’s Board Game Night! Friendly competition is encouraged. Table flipping is not.
  • After that, the evening is yours before we wind down for bed.

Morning

  • We’ll start with breakfast before getting into our first big topic of 'What's Getting in the Way? - Part 1'
  • We all have things that quietly drain our energy, knock our confidence, feed negativity or make life feel harder than it needs to. Today we start identifying what those things are for you and understanding how they influence the way you experience everyday life.
  • After that, you’ll have some free time to let everything sink in. No homework. No pop quiz. Promise.

Afternoon

  • After lunch, we’ll get outside for a walk and, weather permitting, a swim. Fresh air, movement and a little Greek sunshine are pretty good companions for an afternoon of reflection.
  • Later, we’ll come back together for the practical part of 'What's Getting in the Way? - Part 2', where we start looking at your own patterns and figuring out which ones are actually worth doing something about.

Evening

  • Time to get dressed up because tonight we’re heading out!
  • We’ll have dinner at one of our favourite local spots, eat far too much delicious food, enjoy the atmosphere and practise something very important: actually enjoying ourselves.
  • When we get home, we’ll begin our night routine and wind down after a very full day.

Morning

  • We’ll start with our morning routine and breakfast before moving into 'Removing the Negative - Part 1'.
  • Today is about learning practical ways to deal with the things that can hijack a perfectly good day. Stress, negative thought patterns, frustration and everyday pressures aren't magically going to disappear, so instead we'll explore what we can actually do when they show up.
  • Then it’s free time, because learning how to manage life better should not involve spending eight straight hours talking about managing life better (*yawn*)!

Afternoon

  • Lunch first. Always.
  • The afternoon is deliberately spacious, giving you plenty of time to relax, reflect and enjoy the house before we come back together for the practical session.
  • In 'Removing the Negative - Part 2', we'll experiment with simple mental and physical techniques you can use when stress and negativity strike, helping you build your own toolkit for handling difficult moments differently.

Evening

  • After dinner, there will be no more serious thinking allowed.
  • It’s Movie Night! Depending on the weather, we'll either cosy up indoors or take everything outside under the stars. Popcorn, blankets and excessive quantities of snacks are obviously mandatory.
  • Then we’ll finish with our night routine before heading to bed.

Morning

  • Morning routine? Done. Breakfast? Obviously. Now we're ready for one of our favourite parts of 'Creating the Positive - Part 1'.
  • Managing the difficult stuff is only half the story. Today we explore how to actively create more of the good stuff, including positivity, confidence, motivation, energy and those little everyday moments that make life feel considerably more joyful.

Afternoon

  • Then we're taking the lesson on the road. We're off to Kalavrita!
  • We'll spend the afternoon exploring this beautiful mountain town and its surroundings, eating, wandering, discovering and generally enjoying the fact that learning about a better way to experience life can include actually going out and experiencing it.
  • There'll be plenty of time to explore, relax and enjoy wherever the day takes us.

Evening

  • Once we're back, we'll come together for 'Creating the Positive - Part 2', turning the ideas from the morning into practical techniques you can weave into normal everyday life.
  • Then it's free time and our night routine before bed. You have officially earned it.

Morning

  • Today starts a little differently. After our morning routine, we'll move straight into 'Next Steps - Part 1'.
  • You've spent the week learning how to identify what gets in your way, manage the negative and actively create more of the positive. Now we bring everything together and work out what you actually want to take home with you.
  • Then we're heading out for brunch. Because all important life planning should ideally be followed by excellent food.

Afternoon

  • The afternoon is yours to enjoy. We might walk, hike, bike or swim depending on the weather, the group and what sounds fun that day.
  • This is your chance to stop talking about experiencing life differently and simply experience it.

Evening

  • We'll have an early dinner before coming together for 'Next Steps - Part 2', where we'll turn what you've discovered into something realistic that can survive contact with actual everyday life.
  • Then we're heading to the marina for sunset at Moxy. Drinks, sea views, conversation and one of those gorgeous Greek sunsets that make everyone mysteriously go quiet for a minute.
  • Eventually we'll head home, wind down with our night routine and get some sleep before our final full day.

Morning

  • Our final full day begins with our morning routine and breakfast before we come together for 'Living Joyfully - Part 1'.
  • Today is about the point of all of this. We don't want you to become brilliant at managing stress, thinking positively or motivating yourself just for the sake of it. We want those things to give you more capacity to actually enjoy your life.
  • After the session, you've got plenty of free time to relax, reflect or squeeze every last drop out of your favourite hammock.

Afternoon

  • We'll have lunch together before a deliberately relaxed afternoon. Swim, nap, read, chat, play games or simply enjoy having nowhere else you need to be.
  • Later, we'll head into our Body Movement class, where movement, music and a complete lack of concern about looking ridiculous are very much encouraged.

Evening

  • We'll come together one final time for 'Living Joyfully - Part 2', bringing Restore to a close and looking at what living differently could actually mean when you return home.
  • And then... Beach Party!
  • Music, food, sea air, laughter and absolutely no workshop objectives whatsoever. Tonight we're not talking about joy. We're having it.
  • Eventually we'll head home for our final night routine and try very hard not to acknowledge that tomorrow is leaving day.

Morning

  • It's our final breakfast together. We're not thrilled about this either.
  • We'll take our time, eat something delicious and reflect on a week that somehow feels like it started yesterday and also about three months ago.
  • By now, the goal is that you're not simply leaving rested. You're leaving energised, empowered and knowing how to live differently, with practical techniques you can continue experimenting with long after you get home.

Later Morning

  • Then it's road trip time as we drive you back to your chosen departure point.
  • There'll probably be hugs. There may be tears. There will almost certainly be promises to stay in touch.
  • But this isn't really goodbye. Your Restore Retreat might be ending, but your Joy Journey most definitely isn't.

Accommodation

Come in. Make yourself at home.

Welcome to our home in Argyra, a peaceful village surrounded by nature, with stunning mountain views and glimpses of Greece's gorgeous west coast.

With just six guests, you'll never have to compete for space or attention, just a stay that's personalised around the little things that make you feel at home. This isn't a hotel or traditional retreat centre, it's a real home. You'll have your own comfortable bedroom, shared living spaces and so many outdoor areas you could choose a different favourite every day.

Unpack your bags, kick off your shoes and make yourself at home. This is not a hotel. This is something much more personal.

Three floors. Five balconies. More places to sit than anyone reasonably needs.

Our three-level mountain home has plenty of room to spread out, inside and out, with sunny terraces, shady corners and spaces for doing everything or absolutely nothing. Take a dip in the pool, fire up the BBQ or pizza oven, play pool, darts or foosball, grab a book from the mini library, belt out some karaoke or settle in for a movie in one of our homemade cinemas.

And when you just want to relax? Choose from five balconies and a slightly ridiculous collection of hammocks, swing chairs, egg chairs, bean bags, sun loungers and deck chairs.

Secluded in the mountains but not cut off from the world, we're around 10 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from the centre of Patras.

The room with the view.

Wake up to some of the best mountain views in the house from this bright, comfortable room with a king-size bed that can also be arranged as twins, excellent Wi-Fi, air conditioning and your own private bathroom.

It can get a little toasty during the Greek summer, but thankfully the air-con is very good at its job.

Pros:

  • EU Grand King bed or Twin beds
  • Excellent Internet
  • Best views in the villa of the vast mountains of Greece!
  • Air Conditioning
  • Private Bathroom

Cons:

  • Can get hot in summer, but the air-con is great in summer, but the air-con is great

Your own magical (and literal) doorway to the mountains

A comfortable room with a king-size bed that can also be arranged as twins, excellent Wi-Fi and air conditioning, plus your own private access to an outdoor space overlooking the Greek mountains.

The bathroom is shared with just one other guest room, but with the mountains right outside your door, we think it’s a pretty fair trade.

Pros:

  • EU Grand King bed or Twin beds
  • Excellent Internet
  • Private access to outside space overlooking the mountains of Greece!
  • Air Conditioning

Cons:

  • Shared bathroom with 1 other bedroom

The coolest room in the house. Literally.

Our naturally coolest bedroom is perfect for anyone who likes to escape the Greek summer heat, with a king-size bed that can also be arranged as twins, excellent Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

The secret to staying so cool? Just one small window. The bathroom is shared with one other guest room, but when it’s 35°C outside, you may be too busy appreciating the temperature to care.

Pros:

  • EU Grand King bed or Twin beds
  • Excellent Internet
  • This is the coolest bedroom (temperature wise) in summer
  • Air Conditioning

Cons:

  • Shared bathroom with 1 other bedroom
  • Only 1 small window (this is the reason it is so cool in summer!)
